Watermelon sorbet is an easy & delicious recipe using watermelon as base. It is easy to make & to make it smooth & adjust sweetness condensed milk is added. It is also called watermelon popsicle or “chuski” (name in hindi) & kids just love it. You can either freeze it in container or kulfi moulds. It is a perfect way to beat the summer heat & it also has the goodness of watermelon. You can easily store it for 2-3 months in freezer, however, it will be hard to keep it stored & not finish it!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups watermelon (deseeded) cut into small pieces + for garnish2 tbsp condensed milk
2-3 mint leaves for garnish (optional)
SERVES: 400-500ml Watermelon Sorbet
PREPARATION TIME: 15 min
FREEZING TIME: 12-13 hours
* 1 CUP = 240 ML
METHOD:
1. In an airtight container add watermelon pieces & keep it in freezer overnight or at least 8 hours.2. After 8 hours, using fork or knife, separate watermelon pieces & transfer to a grinding jar.
3. Add condensed milk.
4. Place lid on & grind for 3-4 min on medium speed until smooth & creamy. Using a spoon keep scraping the pieces from bottom at regular intervals.
5. Transfer watermelon sorbet mixture to an air tight container & level it with spoon.
6. Place the lid on & freeze for 4-5 hours.
7. After 5 hours, watermelon sorbet will be set. Scoop it & serve in a bowl.
8. Garnish with mint leaves & watermelon pieces.
