Ingredients:

For the outer layer:

1/4 Cup Condensed Milk
1 Cup Desiccated Coconut
3 Finely Chopped Betel Leaves (Paan)
1/8 Tsp Bright Green Food Colour

For the filling:

2 Tbsp Gulkand
2 Tbsp Chopped Nuts (Cashew Nuts and Almonds)
2-3 Finely Chopped Glazed Cherries
2 Tbsp Tutti Frutti
1/2 Tsp Coarsely Grinded Sauf
1/2 Tsp Sauf (Whole)
1 Tsp Soft Supari (Betel Nuts)

For the decoration:

3-4 Tbsp Desiccated Coconut

Method:

1. To make the outer layer, take Condensed Milk, Desiccated Coconut, Finely Chopped Betel Leaves (Paan), Bright Green Food Colour in a Pan and while mixing continuously cook on medium heat till mixture turns in to a ball shape dough (about 2-3 min).
2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Allow it to come to room temperature and then cover it and chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
3. Now to make the filling take Gulkand, Chopped Nuts, Finely Chopped Glazed Cherries, Tutti Frutti, Coarsely Grinded Sauf, Sauf, & Soft Supari in a Pan and cook on low heat for 2 min and switch off flame. Transfer it to a bowl and cover it. Cool it in refrigerator for 1 hour.
4. Now take a small ball from outer layer mixture (about a coin shape) and roll it in ball shape. Repeat for rest of the mixture. It should make about 7 Balls.
5. Now take one ball and flatten it lightly with tips of fingers and fill about 1 Tsp of Filling and cover the filling with outer layer pressing lightly and roll it again in ball shape. Repeat for rest of the Paan Balls.
6. Now lightly roll the balls in a plate/bowl filled with desiccated coconut so as to cover it lightly. This gives a nice appeal to the Paan Balls.
7. Transfer the Paan Balls to refrigerator for 15 min and serve chilled!
